501c3 or tax-exempt organizations that provide services to all County of Marin residents can apply.

  • Requests can range from $1,000 - $10,000 
  • Organizations are allowed to apply more than once for different projects
  • No organization will get more than $10,000 total each funding cycle

  • You can apply online 2 times per year:
    • July 1 - September 30
    • January 1 - March 31

What's next content

Once we get your application, the Board of Supervisors will review it β€” along with all other applications β€” during a public meeting. Then, at the next meeting, they will consider and approve funding. You're allowed to go to these meetings and make comments.

This process can take about 3 months. 

If your application is accepted, you'll need to provide a complete W-9 form or be a current vendor with the County.
