Funding opportunities for nonprofits

Apply for the Community Service Fund and Nonprofit Community Partners grant programs.

The County offers 2 project-based funding programs for nonprofits and government agencies. They support specific projects and programs that:

  • Provide measurable benefits to the community
  • Don’t clearly fit within the activities of a single County department
  • Can be completed by the end of the funding programs’ contract terms

We give priority to requests that represent 50% or less than the total project cost. Funding from the grants is one-time.

Funds for both programs are limited and awards are based on the amount of funds available. If you don't use all of the funds for the services specified in the grant application, you have to return the rest.

Nonprofit Community Partners Program

The Nonprofit Community Partners Program is great for planned projects and programs. They should be implemented within the same fiscal year the funding is approved.

  • Requests can range from $10,000 - $30,000
  • Online applications are accepted annually from December 1, 2023 – February 20, 2024
  • Grants are available for the upcoming fiscal year beginning July 1
