Marin Organic Certified Agriculture (MOCA)

Marin Organic Certified Organic Agriculture (MOCA) serves the local agricultural community.

MOCA

The Marin County Department of Agriculture is accredited as a certification agency by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for offering organic certification services in compliance with the National Organic Program (NOP) Federal Rule. MOCA offers general certification to crop growers and wild crop harvesters. MOCA does not offer certification services to importers, exporters, livestock producers, handlers/handling operations, processing facilities, or producer groups. All California organic producers must register in their principal county of operation to comply with the State Organic Program (SOP).

MOCA is not currently accepting new applicants due to administrative capacity.

Please check out our MOCA Certification Handbook for more information about the program including certification services offered and our schedule of fees.
