Through the Marin Sonoma Weed Management Area (MSWMA), the County of Marin seeks to improve the effectiveness of local weed management efforts, increase public awareness of invasive weeds, advance responsible land stewardship practices, and help to control weeds across land ownership boundaries. Invasive weed projects include the Marin Knotweed Action Team and the Chileno Valley Pilot Program.
