NOTICE:  PERMIT SCAMS ARE INCREASING — WHEN IN DOUBT, CALL IT OUT!
The County of Marin will only request payment through ProjectDox notifications, County website application prompts, Permit Fee Payment forms, or personal check by mail/drop-off. 
We will NEVER request payment via wire transfer, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or other payment apps. 
When in doubt, contact our office to verify before sending payment.

Notice: Transition to Electronic Plan Submittals
Effective January 1, 2026, we will no longer accept paper plan submittals. All plan submittals must be completed electronically. 
To begin the process, please complete the Part A Application and the Submittal Checklist through our online portal.
We appreciate your cooperation as we move toward a more efficient and environmentally friendly submittal process.
