Solving our region's housing problems requires collaboration. We work closely with Marin cities and towns on housing through the Housing Working Group. Planning directors and staff from all the jurisdictions are part of this group and meet every month to work on housing together. The group was formed in 2019.
We have collaborated on several projects, including:
- Housing Elements
- Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs)
- Inclusionary Policies
This work is funded by grants from the state and Bay Area Association of Governments (ABAG) as well as funds from the County, Cities and Towns.
