Recent Activities

On April 17, 2026, the County determined that the information presented in the resubmitted materials for the Davidon Homes Housing Compliance Review Permit, Vesting Tentative Map, and Tree Removal Permit (P5987) applications, received on March 19, 2026, did not satisfactorily address certain incompleteness items identified in the revised Project Status Letter dated January 5, 2026. The applicant has 90 calendar days to provide a resubmission that addresses the remaining incompleteness items in accordance with State law.

Project Description

The applicant requests Housing Compliance Review Permit, Vesting Tentative Map and Tree Removal Permit approvals, for a proposed housing development project at a property commonly known as 805 Atherton Avenue in unincorporated Novato. The project would entail the development of an approximately 6.43-acre portion of the 10.77-acre property, including a subdivision that would create 45 residential lots, the construction of 45 detached single-family dwellings (one on each lot), the removal of 47 trees designated as Heritage or Protected under applicable County regulations, and the installation of associated site improvements and infrastructure.
