McDevitt Design Review (P6521)

The applicant, Michael B. Yandle, on behalf of property owners, requests Design Review approval to construct a new 130 square-foot detached accessory structure (pergola) on a developed lot in Kentfield. The proposed building would reach a maximum height of 9 feet above the surrounding grade, and would have the following setbacks: approximately 7 feet from the front property line; 34 feet from the southeast side property line; 70 feet from the northwest side property line; and 128 feet from the rear property line. Various site improvements would also be entailed in the proposed development, including relocation of an existing freestanding spa, new steps, retaining walls, and lighting.

Design Review approval is required because the project is proposed within the required 15 foot front yard setback.
