What to do
All child support payments are collected and processed by the California State Disbursement Unit (SDU). You have two options to make a payment:
- Pay online. Visit the California State Disbursement Website to pay with a credit card or electronics fund transfer. On the SDU website select the option for “Parent paying support,” or “Employer.” You can then enroll in the program and receive a PIN number. Once you have a PIN number, you can start to make payments online using a credit card or electronic funds transfer.

Pay by mail. You can mail a check or money order to:

Make sure to write your name and participant number or SSN on your payment.
