Need to know

Applications are accepted continually throughout the year
The proposal review process can take 2 to 3 months
Exhibits must not include images of nudity or any political statements.
Number of art works that may be displayed per gallery:
- Bartolini Gallery: 50 to 75
- Redwood Foyer: 40 to 60 (currently closed for renovations)
- Civic Center 1st and 3rd floor: 50 to 75
Marin Center staff will work with the exhibit organizer to plan and schedule an opening reception.

What's next content

The Department of Cultural Services will review all proposals. If we need more information to clarify or strengthen a proposal, we’ll contact you.

If you’re selected, we will ask you to enter into a loan agreement. You can request a copy of this in advance.
