Connecting Frank Lloyd Wright to the Classroom

Connect Frank Lloyd Wright to the classroom by exploring the unique architectural heritage of the Marin County Civic Center.

Calling All Teachers!

Connect Frank Lloyd Wright to the classroom by exploring the unique architectural heritage of the Marin County Civic Center.

These grades 3–5 pre-visit and post-visit lesson plans supplement our Frank Lloyd Wright school tours and are based on Core Curriculum Standards for English / Language Arts and Science / Engineering. We've also compiled a list of recommended resources teachers can use in the classroom.

Easy-to-implement hands-on projects focus on STEAM-based learning and underscore the Civic Center's significance as Frank Lloyd Wright's last designed building.

Download the lesson plans below and visit our tours page for information on booking a private tour for your school group.
