Congratulations on Marin County’s decision to implement the Voter’s Choice Act (VCA) election model! In accordance with the VCA, and pursuant to Election Code Section 4005 (a)(10)(I)(i), the Secretary of State must approve, approve with modifications, or reject the voter education and outreach provisions of the Election Administration Plan.
On behalf of Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D., she has approved your 2-year Election Administration Plan. Thank you for sending to our office the final version of the plan with accessible format in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act which will be posted on our website. In accordance with Election Code Section 4005(a)(10)(G), Marin County’s next 4-year Election Administration Plan will be due to the Secretary of State by September 10, 2027.
