NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Elections Code section 10516, the following offices have an extended filing deadline for failure of an incumbent officeholder to file by the end of the regular nomination period:

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the nomination period may be extended for offices where the statutory filing officer is located in Sonoma County or within Marin County municipalities.

For Councilmember contests in the Cities/Towns of Belvedere, Corte Madera, Fairfax, Larkspur, Mill Valley, Novato, Ross, San Anselmo, San Rafael, Sausalito, and Tiburon, please contact the appropriate City/Town Clerk for more information.

For Trustee Area contests in the San Rafael Board of Education, please contact the San Rafael City Clerk’s Office for more information.

For contests in the Sonoma County Board of Education and the Petaluma Joint Union High School District, please contact the Sonoma County Elections Department for more information.
