Survey sent to Marin County voters

Your feedback helps improve County services

What you need to know

The County of Marin recently sent a survey to voters who participated in the 2025 special election to better understand their experience with the Elections Department: specifically, the process of voting. We want to explain why you may have received this survey and how your feedback helps improve County services.

Why did you receive this survey?

The County is working across departments to improve how we serve our community. As part of this effort, we are using surveys to measure community members’ experiences in a consistent and thoughtful way.

This survey is one of the first steps in that work. It asks three standard questions about satisfaction, ease of use, and trust. Your feedback helps us better understand what is working well, where we can improve, and how to make informed decisions about using limited public resources. It also supports the Elections Department in improving future communications and operations.

For elections specifically, maintaining and strengthening public trust is essential. Hearing directly from voters is one way we are trying to build that trust and strengthen our services.

We hear your concerns

Some residents shared they do not recall a recent interaction with the Elections Department or felt concerned about receiving this survey in light of questions about election integrity. We understand why this could feel unsettling, and we sincerely appreciate those who shared their concerns with us.

What we are doing next

We are reviewing how surveys are distributed to ensure future outreach is timely, appropriate, and relevant. We are committed to using your feedback responsibly to improve County services.

Thank you

We are committed to serving Marin County residents with transparency, accountability, and care. Thank you for helping us improve by sharing your feedback.
