After almost six successful years and $1.4 million in rebates allocated, the Electrify Marin Rebate Program is now closed and will not accept new applications. For information on other rebate programs that help fund energy efficiency and electrification upgrades, please read below.

The Switch is On allows California residents to search for current incentive program offerings based on where they live. They also provide a directory of contractors that participate in incentive programs.

MCE Residential Rebate & Incentive Finder

MCE has a tool to help you find home and transportation rebates that you qualify for, based on your location and income. The Incentive Finder links to clean energy incentives from federal, state, and local sources and includes rebates, tax credits, financing, and other benefits. MCE offers incentives for heat pump water heater and HVAC projects through participating contractors, and more information can be found on their Incentive Finder and Contractor Finder.

Golden State Rebates for Heat Pump Water Heater

Golden State Rebates is offering an instant rebate of $400–$700 when you replace a natural gas storage tank water heater with a qualifying heat pump water heater (fuel substitution required). Rebate amount subject to type and size of water heater being replaced.
