Resources for landscaping contractors and businesses

Transition your business and replace your tools with available incentives

What you need to know

What is happening?

Starting in 2024, new gas-powered landscaping tools will no longer be sold in California. Instead, only electric tools will be available for sale.

Affected tools and equipment include:

  • leaf blowers
  • weed trimmers
  • polesaws/chainsaws
  • mowers
  • 2-stroke and 4-stroke

What can you do?

We encourage you to begin making the transition to electric tools as soon as possible. Replace your worn out gas tools with electric models. The latest professional tools and commercial-grade battered are more affordable, efficient, and powerful. If you adopt these new tools early, you will have a competitive advantage.
