The Communications Division connects the County of Marin with its community by providing timely, clear, and engaging information. We aim to build trust and foster public awareness through transparent and inclusive communication efforts.

Our team plays a key role in sharing news about County programs, services, and government initiatives, responding to media inquiries, and leading community engagement. From producing news releases and video public service announcements to managing the County's website and social media platforms, we ensure consistent, effective messaging.

During times of crisis, we become an integral part of the Emergency Operations Center, disseminating urgent information that could potentially save lives.
