Document last updated on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Resumen

Greenhouse gas emissions come from different sources. Transportation, buildings, businesses, and landfill waste all contribute to climate change. In July 2025, the County published the Greenhouse Gas Inventory for Countywide Community Emissions for the Year 2023. The community inventory identifies and measures these sources in Marin countywide. You can find similar reports for Marin’s cities and towns on the Marin Climate & Energy Partnership (MCEP) website.
