Requirements:
- Have a Smart Meter installed
- Have lived in your residence for at least one year
HomeIntel is available to homeowners and renters.
Rewiring America Online Assessment Tool
This home assessment tool from Rewiring America can provide homeowners with a personalized electrification plan. Rewiring America will factor in tax incentives and rebates from the Inflation Reduction Act to help residents plan for their electrification projects.
In-person assessments
Green House Call
The Rising Sun Center for Opportunity's Green House Call Program provides no-cost energy and water evaluations and no-cost installation of energy and water-saving devices like:
- Efficient light bulbs
- Low flow faucet aerators and shower heads
- Smart power strips
- And more
Marin residents that rent or own, and live in single family homes or apartments are eligible for the program. The program hires and trains local youth to administer the program over the summer months. Visit the Rising Sun Center for Opportunity's website to sign up for your Green House Call.
Home Energy Score
Schedule an onsite visit with a Home Energy Score Assessor who will walk through your home to determine its energy use. You’ll receive a score and a report about potential upgrades and savings. Each Home Energy Score is performed by a local building industry professional. It's a great way to get started with planning energy efficiency and electrification home improvements.
