Report of an educational public forum on Sustainable Public Employee Pensions for Marin County government. The Board of Supervisors adopted guiding principles on pension reform and endorsed the Governor’s 12-point plan in December 2011. While the state is debating the components of the plan, the County took the opportunity to engage and educate the public on pension forum and gather feedback on possible next steps.
