2013 Refunding Revenue Bond Fund 28560
Pursuant to the Indenture of Trust dated August 1, 2013, (the “Indenture”) the Marin County Open Space Financing Authority (“Authority”) issued $6,163,324 Marin County Open Space District (“Open Space District”) 2013 Refunding Revenue Bonds (“Bonds”). The Bonds were issued for the purpose of refunding the 2002 Bonds and to provide funds for public capital improvements.
The Open Space District was established in 1972 by general election as a tax-supported public agency. The Open Space District is dedicated to preserving and protecting strategic open space throughout Marin County.
CFD 1993-1 and CFD 1997-1 (the “CFD’s”) are comprised of the same parcels and are located in the southern portion of Marin County, which is across the Golden Gate Bridge to the north of San Francisco and is commonly referred to as the Tiburon Peninsula. The geography is largely hillside and is surrounded on three sides (east, south and west) by the San Francisco Bay.
The Pacheco Valle District (“Pacheco Valle”) is located within the southern city limits of the City of Novato on the west side of U.S. 101 and runs west approximately one mile on either side of Alameda del Prado, Oak Forest Road and Pacheco Creek Drive.
The Little Mountain District (“Little Mountain”, and together with Pacheco Valle, the “Reassessment District 2002”) is located partially within the city limits of the City of Novato, located in West Novato on the west side of Sutro Avenue, between the Little Mountain and Verissimo Hills Open Space Preserves.
The CFD’s and Reassessment District 2002 are hereinafter referred to as the “Local Obligations”.
The Bonds are special Obligations of the Authority. The Bonds are payable solely from Revenues of the Authority pledged under the Indenture, consisting primarily of payments received from the Local Obligations. The Bonds are not a debt of the Open Space District, the State of California, or any of its political subdivisions and neither the District, the State of California, nor any of its political subdivisions is liable. The Bonds do not constitute
indebtedness within the meaning of any constitutional or statutory debt limit or restriction.
Marin County Open Space (MCOS) 2002 Consol Reassmt Bonds DSF Fund 28520
The Reassessment District is the consolidation of two previously separate assessment districts, the Pacheco Valle Open Space Assessment District and the Little Mountain Open Space Assessment District.
The Little Mountain Open Space District Bonds were issued in August 30, 1995 with an original par amount of $483,272.45. The purpose was the acquisition and maintenance of a 220 acre parcel to be preserved as public open space.
The Little Mountain Open Space Assessment District is 85.064 acres of land located in West Novato on the west side of Sutro Avenue, Between Little Mountain and Verissimo Hills Open Space Preserve.
The Pacheco Valle Open Space District bonds were issued in March 15, 1995 with an original par amount of $246,309.34. The purpose was the acquisition and maintenance of a 179 acre parcel to be preserved as public open space. The Pacheco Valle Open Space District is within the southern city limits of the city of Novato, on Forest Road and Pacheco Creek Drive. It encompasses land area of approximately 63.117 acres.
MCOS St Hillary CFD 97-1 Assmt Bonds DSF Fund 28530
The CFD 1997-1 (Old St. Hilary’s Open Space) Series 1997 Bonds were authorized by voters on June 3, 1997 and issued for $4,000,000. The purpose was to provide funds to pay costs of acquisition and maintenance of real property to be preserved as public open space on the Tiburon peninsula.
MCOS St Hillary CFD 93-1 Assmt Bonds DSF Fund 28540
The CFD 1993-1 (Old St. Hilary’s Open Space Series A (1995) were authorized by voters on June 8, 1993 and issued for $3,590,000. The purpose was to provide funds to pay costs of acquisition and maintenance of real property to be preserved as public open space on the Tiburon peninsula.

The Marin County Law Library is located at 20 North San Pedro Road, Suite 2007, in San Rafael, CA 94903.
The Marin County Law Library serves the public by providing access to legal information resources through a variety of media, research assistance, and technologies needed to give practical expression to the law, while maintaining a flexible and supportive presence that fosters the ends of community service and social justice. County law libraries were created to ensure equal access to justice for all and do so by providing no-cost legal information as well as assistance in locating that information.
The Marin County Law Library maintains a collection of 17,360 print publications, including California state and federal statutes, California state and federal reporters, legal encyclopedias, treatises, law reviews and journals, tax portfolios, legal practice manuals, legal newspapers and periodicals, Nolo Press legal guides for non-attorneys, and legal forms, as well as computer terminals with access to electronic legal databases. Law Library support services provided by staff range from individual training in reference services to sophisticated internet searches for information, law and forms that are often difficult to locate. In addition, the Law Library has a conference room that comfortably seats 10 individuals which is available for rent to the public; typical uses include depositions,
arbitrations, mediations, and meetings with clients. We also provide for a reasonable fee proctoring services for students taking exams in distance education courses, and fax and scanning services. The Law Library website, www.marincountylawlibrary.org, provides information about our services, fees, monthly trustee meetings, and links to numerous electronic legal reference sources to aid the public in their research. Despite decreasing revenue from filing fees, the Law Library's primary source of funding, and increasing operations costs, the Law Library strives to maintain the level of services that the citizens of Marin County need and deserve.
