The Marin County Public Defender’s Post-Conviction Team assists clients eligible for relief in accordance with new laws. The new laws include Penal Code Sections, 1172.1, 1172.75, 1172.6, and 3051. If successful, such petitions can reduce sentences, and in some cases result in release from State Prison custody.
