San Rafael, CA – The Marin County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing the conduct of two San Rafael Police Officers who were involved in a use-of-force incident against a San Rafael man on July 27th.
Our investigation will include a thorough review of the evidence to determine whether any criminal offenses were committed.
“The safety of our community is our priority,” said Marin County District Attorney Lori Frugoli. “It is the obligation of my office to hold people accountable if crimes are committed, and we take that obligation seriously.”
It is our ethical duty as prosecutors and the policy of this office not to discuss evidence of a case while it is under investigation. Therefore, the Marin County District Attorney’s office is unable to discuss further details about this case.
