Marin County, CA – The Marin County Probation Department, in partnership with the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a DUI operation on June 11 to ensure individuals were in compliance with the terms and conditions of their supervised probation. The operation resulted in two arrests and four violations.

DUI compliance operations play a critical role in protecting public safety, promoting accountability, and reducing recidivism. These collaborative efforts help ensure individuals remain compliant with court-ordered conditions while providing opportunities for positive behavioral change and long-term stability.

Results of the operation included:

  • 32 potential contacts
  • 24 contacts made
  • 16 attempts conducted
  • 16 drug tests administered
  • 23 residence searches completed
  • 6 vehicle searches conducted
  • 4 probation violations identified
  • 2 arrests made

Chief Probation Officer Marlon Washington stated, “Public safety and rehabilitation go hand in hand. These operations reinforce accountability while also creating opportunities for individuals to make positive changes and successfully reintegrate into the community. Our goal is to support long-term success by balancing supervision with the resources and guidance necessary to help individuals build more stable and productive futures.” The Marin County Probation Department remains committed to protecting public safety while supporting justice-involved individuals, victims of crime, and the diverse communities throughout Marin County.
