San Rafael, CA – Starting September 24, the Marin County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for one appointment to the Stinson Beach County Water District Board of Directors.
The application period ends at 5 PM Friday, October 18. The individual appointed must be a registered voter in the district. The term for the four-year seat ends in December 2028.
The open seat occurred because not enough candidates filed for the seats on the board of directors during the filing period before the November 5 election. In such cases, the Board of Supervisors makes appointments to special district boards.
Applications are available at the Marin County Board of Supervisors office, Marin County Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, Suite 329, San Rafael, CA 94903, or by calling 415-473-7331, or by sending an email to the Clerk of the Board staff. Applications also may be requested by emailing the Stinson Beach County Water District.
