Marin County, CA - The Marin County Probation Department, in partnership with the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, conducted an AB 109 / warrant operation on September 24 to ensure accountability and compliance among individuals on active supervised probation, Post Release Community Supervision, Mandatory Supervision, and County Parole. The operation focused on 40 individuals and resulted in one arrest.
This operation reinforces the department’s approach to pairing accountability with pathways for rehabilitation that support long-term success outside of incarceration.
“Public safety remains our highest priority, and this operation reflects our responsibility to ensure individuals remain in compliance,” said Marlon Washington, Chief Probation Officer. “Through strong collaboration with our law enforcement partners, we are taking proactive steps to support accountability while also offering alternatives that encourage long-term success.”
Results of the operation included:

- 22 attempts
- 9 searches
- 1 drug test
- 1 warrant arrest (from 2021)
