Note that qualified professionals and licensed septic contractors are qualified to conduct the inspection and monitoring work of a service provider for the submittal of monitoring reports for alternative septic systems.
These lists are provided as a public service and do not indicate endorsement by the County of Marin, Environmental Health Services.

Monitoring results shall be reported on a standard form approved by the Health Officer. The monitoring report shall be signed by the Registered Engineer, Registered Environmental Health Specialist (R.E.H.S.), Registered Geologist, Certified Professional Soil Scientist, Certified Engineering Geologist, or other qualified service provider responsible for the monitoring.
Notwithstanding the annual report, the County shall be notified immediately of any significant system problems observed during the inspection and monitoring, at any other time.
