E-Bikers Club

🚲 Welcome to E-Bikers Club

Did you know that kids ages 10–15 are 5 times more likely than other age groups to need an ambulance after an e-bike crash? That’s why we’re working to make e-bike riding safer for everyone in Marin.

Marin has new e-bike laws:

  • Class 2 throttle e-bikes are for riders 16 years old and up
  • Helmets are required for all ages (no exceptions!)

You can help keep Marin rolling safely by picking the right bike for your age and skill level—whether it’s a regular bike or an e-bike.

Prioritize safety while prioritizing fun.

Ride smart. Ride safe. Let’s keep rolling, Marin!

✋ E-Bikers Club Pledge

I pledge to always wear a helmet and stay focused and alert while riding.
I will follow all traffic laws and be mindful of others on the road.

  1. ✔️ I will only ride the e-bike I'm legally allowed to (Class 2 & 3 are for ages 16+).

  2. ✔️ I will keep my e-bike’s speed settings legal—no tampering.

  3. ✔️ I always wear a buckled helmet.

  4. ✔️ I ride predictably and follow traffic laws, including speed limits.

  5. ✔️ I give people plenty of space—on foot, in cars, or on bikes.

  6. ✔️ If my bike is made for one, I ride solo.

  7. ✔️ I stay alert and ride focused—no distractions.
