The project includes: • Demolition of three dormitories including walls, doors, ceilings, lighting, finishes, and one fixed window. • Construction of six new dormitories including walls, doors, ceilings, lighting, and finishes. Replacement of three fixed windows to be made operable and construction of two new operable windows. • Removal of two window trellises and relocation of one window trellis. • Interior accessibility upgrades to first floor accessible restroom. • Exterior accessibility upgrades to path of travel. • Hazardous material/ asbestos abatement. The Engineer's estimated cost for the accomplishment of this work is $850,000 Bids are required for the entire work described herein. 2. The Contractor shall possess a valid General "A" or General “B” license at time of bid submittal. Bidders shall list appropriately licensed specialty contractors for the following trades: Electrical (C-10), Structural (C-51), HVAC (C-20) , Plumbing (C-36). Each contractor must identify all subcontractors and provide current license numbers as part of the bid submission. Failure to comply with this requirement will render the bid non-responsive.
