The County of Marin Department of Health and Human Services, Divisions of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services and Public Health, is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to coordinate youth-led, school-based substance use prevention efforts through the Friday Night Live (FNL) and Club Live (CL) programs. FNL engages high school-aged youth and CL engages middle school-aged youth as active leaders working to change the community conditions that contribute to underage substance use. Funded through the federal Substance Use Prevention and Treatment Block Grant (SUBG), the selected organization will coordinate a minimum of three FNL/CL chapters across diverse school communities countywide, providing training and support and building youth capacity to drive lasting change in their schools and communities.
The County anticipates allocating $50,000 annually for this work. The anticipated initial contract period is September 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year periods, subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance. Proposals are due by 3:00 p.m. PST on July 15, 2026.
