The County of Marin (“County”) is seeking proposals from a qualified team of architects and engineers (“Consultant” or “Proposer”) to provide professional design, engineering and construction administration services for a tenant improvement project at 350 Ignacio Boulevard in Novato, California. The selected team will be expected to provide a coordinated, permit-ready and bid-ready design, support the County through bidding, and provide construction administration services through project closeout.
The project will adapt the recently acquired office building to support County operations and staff from University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE), Agriculture Weights & Measures (AWM), and Health & Human Services (H&HS). The work is intended to build upon the County’s November 2025 350 Ignacio Boulevard Facility Assessment Study prepared by DLR Group and its subconsultants. The study included facility assessment, programming, conceptual planning, engineering narratives, and probable cost development. The County intends for the selected Consultant to validate and advance that work. The target construction budget for this project is $4M.
The successful Proposer must be prepared to start work immediately upon contract award. The delivery schedule for all services outlined in this RFP is expected to take up to 17 months with design taking approximately 5 months and construction beginning summer 2027. - Delivery address:
