Project Description
The applicant requests Design Review approval to construct additions onto an existing single-family residence on a developed lot in Kentfield. The proposed project entails the following: (1) convert the existing 633 square foot garage to floor area; (2) construct a new attached 563 square foot garage that would contain a roof deck and pergola; and (3) construct additions to the lower and main levels of the residence. The exterior walls of the proposed improvements would maintain the following distances from property lines: over 100 feet from the southern front property line; 89 feet, 4 inches from the northern rear property line, 17 feet 8 inches from the western side property line, and 15 feet from the eastern side property line. The maximum height of the proposed additions would be 16 feet 8 inches above grade. The pergola over the garage would be 18 feet 1 inch above grade. Other improvements are proposed with the project including drainage, landscaping and hardscaping.
