Southern Marin Fire Protection District Design Review - P5920

The applicant requests Design Review approval to construct a new 728 square foot detached accessory structure (“fitness facility”) on a lot developed with the existing Southern Marin Fire Station 4 in Mill Valley.

The 728 square feet of proposed development would result in a total floor area of 8,071 square feet and a floor area ratio of 25 percent on the 31,300 square foot lot.

The proposed building would reach a maximum height of 15 feet, six inches above surrounding grade and the exterior walls would have the following setbacks: 70 feet from the western front property line; 10 feet, six inches from the northern side property line; over 160 feet from the southern side property line; and 13 feet, five inches from the eastern rear property line
