Project Description
The applicant requests Design Review approval to construct a new 467 square foot addition onto an existing garage, construct a covered porch, pool and additions onto an existing residence in Nicasio. The existing building area is 5,090 square feet and proposed building area is 6,752 square feet. The existing floor area is 4,300 square feet and the proposed floor area is 5,968 square feet.
The proposed garage addition would reach a maximum height of 15 feet above surrounding grade is located within the building envelope and more than 100 feet from all property lines. The project also includes modification to the existing roof of the residence which would result in the residence reaching a maximum height of 27.5 feet.
Design Review approval is required because the project is located within a Planned Zoning District and cannot otherwise be exempt.
