Surf, Skate, Street Art Exhibit
May 14 - September 24, 2026
Marin Civic Center 1st Floor Gallery
Surf, Skate, Street brings together three powerful currents of creative expression—surfing, skateboarding, and graffiti—each born from movement, rebellion, and a deep connection to place. This exhibit explores how cultures rooted in coastlines and city streets have shaped a visual language that is raw, kinetic, and unmistakably alive. These art forms are not confined to studios; they unfold in motion—on water, on pavement, and across concrete surfaces—where creativity meets risk, freedom, and identity.
Surf, Skate, Street features local artists alongside artists from the San Quentin Rehabilitation Center, all of whom blur the line between sport and art. Together, their work reveals how style, innovation, and self-expression ripple across communities and generations.

The Art of Public Service Art Exhibit
May 14 - September 24, 2026
Marin Civic Center 3rd Floor Gallery
Behind every public service role is a human story, shaped by identity, resilience, and belonging.
The Art of Public Service features work by Marin County employees who came together to make art, share personal stories, and reflect on how their identities shape their work. Through painting, collage, and conversation, they explored how creativity can deepen relationships, surface meaningful narratives, and strengthen a shared sense of purpose.
