If you are in unincorporated Marin County, FixItMarin is the official app for reporting and tracking non-emergency issues. Unincorporated Marin County includes  Black Point, Bolinas, Dillon Beach, Forest Knolls, Ignacio, Inverness, Kentfield, Lagunitas, Lucas Valley, Marin City, Marinwood, Nicasio, Paradise Cay, San Quentin, St. Vincent’s, Strawberry, Tamalpais Valley, Tocaloma, and Woodacre.  

While we are working to make reporting issues across the county easier with FixItMarin, there are times when we may direct you to another agency or jurisdiction to get your issue resolved. 

For the 11 incorporated cities or towns located within the Marin County, the fastest way to get issues resolved is to report them directly to the city or town. This includes: Belvedere, Corte Madera, Fairfax, Larkspur, Mill Valley, Novato, Ross, San Anselmo, San Rafael, Sausalito, and Tiburon. 

 

You find it. We fix it. FixItMarin is Marin County’s official app for reporting non-emergency issues in unincorporated areas. With just a few taps, residents can report everyday problems, share photos and location details, and track updates as County teams respond.

It is a simple way to help keep our roads and neighborhoods safe and well cared for.

The app can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play or accessed on the Web at FixItMarin.com. With a few taps, you’re able to select the type of issue to report, upload a photo and select your location. After submission, you will receive a confirmation and can track the status of your request. 

Use FixItMarin to report everyday issues such as:

Yes! You can add comments with additional details or information to any request you have submitted. 

On a mobile phone:

  1. Open the FixItMarin app
  2. Sign in (if not already signed in)
  3. At the top left corner, tap the menu icon (looks like 3 stacked lines)
  4. Select "Track Requests"
  5. Open the request you wish to update and add comments to it

On any device: Click the "View Request" link at the bottom of the email you received after submitting your request

Note: If you submitted your request anonymously you will not be able to view or add comments to your submission. You may contact us instead for further assistance. 

If you see a problem but you are offline, don’t worry — you can still help.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Take a photo of the issue with your phone.
  2. Write down the address or closest landmark or location so we can find it later.
  3. When you are back online, open the FixItMarin app or website.
  4. Create your report, uploading the photo and location information you saved. Note: If the photo has location data associated, FixItMarin will pre-select the location after you upload it.

Yes! You can select the “anonymous” option when submitting a request. Not even staff will know who you are. If you choose to be anonymous, we won't be able to respond with updates on progress or questions about your issue. 

The app does require you to create an account so that you can receive updates on requests, notifications, alerts, and more. We offer multiple options for account creation including Apple’s single sign-on with the “Hide My Email” feature. Other options include a direct email/password, Google, Microsoft and Facebook. 

Yes! The FixItMarin app works in 10 languages on your iPhone or Android phone:  Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), English, Filipino, French, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. 

The app will use the main language set on your device.

Don’t see your language?

  • Make sure you have the newest version of the app from the App Store  (version 5.61.2 or newer) or Google Play (version 5.61.7 or newer).
  • Check that your device’s main language is set to the one you want. Supported languages include:
