Instructions for the New Public Meeting Experience

Beginning with the September 29, 2026, meeting, the County of Marin will use a new public portal for Board of Supervisors and related meeting materials. The agenda will be published September 23.

The portal is part of OneMeeting, the County’s new agenda management system from Granicus. It brings agendas and related meeting materials together in a more transparent, streamlined format.

For Board of Supervisors meetings, the new experience will provide:

• A prominent Zoom link on meeting days
• An HTML agenda that can be viewed and navigated online
• A downloadable PDF packet containing the agenda and attachments
• Individual agenda items and supporting attachments
• Meeting video, captions and minutes when available
• New and existing meeting archives
• Disability accommodations 

These options are intended to make meeting information easier to find and use while supporting transparency and public participation.

Meeting Agenda

To view the meeting agenda:

1. Go to the Board of Supervisors Meetings page.
2. Choose a meeting under Upcoming Meetings.
3. Select HTML Agenda to view the agenda online.
4. If agenda item has supplemental documents – a paperclip icon is to left of agenda name (icon only – does nothing when clicked)
5. To view supplemental documents – click the agenda name to reveal its attachments.
6. Click eyeball to view the document online or download icon to download to your preferred device or assistive technology
7. To download all documents associated with a specific agenda item – click pdf icon to the right of the agenda.

PDF Packet

The PDF packet includes the agenda and all attachments in one document.

To download the packet:

1. Find the meeting you want to view.
2. Select PDF Packet.
3. Open the packet using your preferred PDF reader.
4. Read the packet online or download it to your device.

Join Online

On meeting days, the Zoom link will appear prominently on the Board of Supervisors Meetings page.

1. Go to the Board of Supervisors Meetings page.
2. Find the current meeting.
3. Select the Zoom link to join.
4. Follow the meeting participation instructions.

Find Past Meetings

Past meeting materials are available through the new portal and the County’s existing Granicus archive.

1. In the Board of Supervisors Meetings page, scroll down to Past Meetings.
2. To find meetings dating back to September 28, 2026 to the present, select the "+" icon to expand the section. The meetings will appear within the new meeting portal.
3. To find meetings dating back to 1995, select the "+" icon to expand the section. Then, select the archive link to open the existing Granicus meeting archive in a new page.

The County plans to move archived materials to OneMeeting in the future, providing enhanced search features. We will share an update when the new archive is ready.
