How to participate in a meeting
The Board of Supervisors meets on scheduled Tuesdays, at 9 a.m. unless otherwise stated in the posted agenda. Meetings are held in room 330 at the Marin County Civic Center.
Meetings are open to the public, and public participation is encouraged. You can:

Closed sessions are not open to the public, but any reportable actions are noted in the next public session.

Special districts
The Board of Supervisors also serves as the governing board of several special districts such as the Open Space District, Flood Control and the Housing Authority.
