The Notice of Availability (NOA) for the Draft Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the Cardinal Road Levee Upgrade Project. The Marin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is proposing to address chronic seepage issues associated with Coyote Creek and tidal water coming from Richardson Bay by constructing a new steel sheet pile floodwall with a height extending 3 feet above the existing floodwall along an approximately 1,100-foot segment of the Cardinal Road levee. The public comment period for the Draft IS/MND is open from Friday, October 31, 2025 to Monday, December 1, 2025 at 4:00pm.
