The Notice of Extended Comment Period for the Draft Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the Marin City Pond Pump Station Flood Reduction Project. The Project would construct a new pump station at the Marin City Pond, which will divert flood waters to Richardson Bay via a culvert located within the Caltrans right-of-way. A new platform-type pump station would be constructed at the northeast corner of the Pond to provide a permanent solution to reduce flooding in Marin City and to maximize the limited flow capacity across U.S. Highway 101.
The public comment period for the Draft IS/MND commenced on Thursday, May 15, 2025 and has been extended to Monday, June 23, 2025 at 4:00pm.
