Project Description

As part of the Marinwood Apartments (Marinwood Plaza) project, the applicant requests Lot Line Adjustment and Tree Removal Permit approval for the following: 

  1. Adjust lot lines between two contiguous parcels ("Parcel One" and "Parcel Two") resulting in the following: (a) "Parcel One" would decrease in area from  85,513 to 60,245  square feet in area; and (b) "Parcel Two" would increase in area from 46,199 to 71,471 square feet in area; and
  2. Remove a total of six regulated trees consisting of four coast live oak, ranging in size from 6- to 8-inches-in-diameter at breast height (dbh) and two coast redwood, both 19-inches dbh. (A total of 128 replacement trees would be planted with the Marinwood Apartments project). 

Lot Line Adjustment approval is required pursuant to Marin County Code Section 22.90.020 as the project entails the adjustment of lot lines between two to four existing adjacent parcels. Tree Removal Permit approval is required pursuant to Marin County Code Section 22.62.020 as the project entails the removal of trees regulated by the County.
