FIRE Foundry Program

The FIRE Foundry is an innovative program that’s mission is to support underrepresented individuals on a pathway into fire or fire adjacent fields.

About the Program

The FIRE Foundry program builds a community-based wildfire prevention workforce by providing job training and skill development for underserved and underrepresented community members of Marin County and the surrounding Bay Area. The program supports participants in exploring careers in the fire service and helps prepare them for future jobs as firefighters or in related fields such as healthcare, public safety, and environmental conservation.

Apply

Apply on the County of Marin Careers website. We review every application we receive. If you’re selected to move forward, we’ll reach out to schedule an interview with you. You will also attend a mandatory information session before the program begins.
