Financial Audit Advisory Committee
Overview
The Financial Audit Advisory Committee advises the Board of Supervisors. Our purpose is to review the yearly independent audit of the County’s finances. We also encourage business practices that are in line with accepted accounting principles.
The Committee meets once per year, usually in late winter. At this meeting, we review the most recent County audits.
The Committee is made up of 9 members. Committee members are appointed through a standard application, interview, and selection process. The Board of Supervisors manages this process. Learn more about Committee appointments.
